Rotem Reshef is a painter and installation artist whose work explores environmental and social concerns through the lens of ecofeminism and the concept of Tikkun (healing and repair). Working with discarded vegetation and leftover materials, she transforms what is overlooked or cast aside into ghostly, fossil-like compositions that evoke lost or forgotten life forms and reflect on the exploitation of natural resources.

Her paintings and immersive installations explore the tension between untamed nature and human-designed landscapes, encouraging viewers to reconsider their relationship with familiar surroundings and the beauty and fragility of what is often taken for granted.

Reshef’s work has been exhibited internationally in solo and group exhibitions at institutions including the Bakersfield Museum of Art (CA), Katonah Museum of Art (NY), Kwan Fong Gallery at California Lutheran University (CA), San Diego Art Institute (CA), FSU Museum of Fine Arts (FL), Steinhardt Museum of Natural History (Tel Aviv), Center for the Arts at Towson University (MD), University of La Verne (CA), and School of Visual Arts (New York), as well as Charlie James Gallery (Los Angeles) and Susan Eley Fine Art (New York).

Reshef is a graduate of Hamidrasha School of Art, Israel, and the Reinwardt Academy, Amsterdam. She is currently developing a monographic artist book surveying two decades of her practice, alongside several exhibitions scheduled for 2027.
